ABOUT ME

I am a writer, editor, and analyst who has created and managed content in the realms of eCommerce, real estate, and digital marketing.

I am currently serving as a content strategist for a major real estate company. My focus here has been to improve customer and staff engagement of our self-help knowledge bases through regular, data-driven content audits and a full re-design of the platform’s architecture to mirror customer inquiries with support troubleshooting workflows. I have overhauled and migrated content repositories for our regional and national teams into a centralized knowledge platform to improve cost savings by reducing handle time and minimizing the number of platforms used to host content. I am also currently working on a project to standardize content to be used by an AI-powered chatbot.

In my former role as an operations analyst, I used reporting tools and data analysis to identify opportunities for process improvements, and support my written proposals for customer experience enhancements. I worked closely with marketing, web merchandising, and product management teams to strategize and work plans to improve the digital customer journey.

After receiving my English Literature degree from the University of Washington, I began my writing career creating copy for a small SEO company. Though I was hired as an editor, our staff was lean and I often wrote marketing copy for clients and contributed weekly to the company blog. It’s here, I learned to research and verify sources, write to a variety of different audiences, and manage online content and social media. This began my journey to becoming a versatile and disciplined writer, and an efficient and thorough editor.

As you can see by the photographs I have chosen to use on my page, when I’m not writing copy or updating my portfolio, I’m likely outside setting up a tent in questionable weather or distance running for no one (I once ran 5 marathons in a single year, which I’m sure will never come back to haunt me or my knees). I also love karaoke, Taylor Swift, women’s sports (every single one of them), and, above all, my dog Finn.
